Through litigation, law reform, and public legal education, West Coast LEAF aims to dismantle gender-based discrimination and move toward gender justice. Project Summary West Coast LEAF (WCLEAF) is planning an office move project to a new workspace in a post pandemic world. The goal is to help pack up, organize, & set-up the new office space for our staff and volunteers who support our work. Project Manager Responsibilities Develop and manage the project’s workplan, processes and planning documents Establish and maintain relationships with internal teams and the public (in this project, this primarily means office building management, leasing agents, moving companies, disposal companies and other relevant parties to an office move) Provide regular project updates, documentation and presenting to executive level stakeholders Required Qualifications PMP designation is required Minimum 7 years project management experience Minimum 3 years of event planning project management is desirable Experience with real estate and interior designing initiatives is desirable A love for advocacy and equality is desired Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills Experience with not-for-profit sector is desirable The following are strong assets for this position: Experience in the non-profit sector Respect for diversity Experience, or enthusiasm for working on social justice issues Estimated Time Commitment Start date: October 15, 2025 End date: March 31, 2026 4 hours/week on average, with additional hours needed in the immediate lead-up to and during the office move period Accountability The PM volunteer will have end-end accountability on project deliverables, reporting to the RFP representative, who is leading the project. Benefits West Coast LEAF (WCLEAF) executive leadership team will provide the project manager a letter of recommendation at the successful completion of the project and serve as a reference.
