The Anchor Foundation supports the mental health and well-being of individuals and communities through crisis prevention, early intervention, and accessible navigation to appropriate partner support systems. The Foundation operates exclusively for charitable and public-interest purposes and intends to collaborate with service providers, researchers, and community partners to advance effective, equitable, and compassionate crisis support systems across British Columbia and Canada.

Organization Mission
To provide low barrier digital crisis navigation tools designed to help individuals in crisis; that help individuals identify the right level of support response and allow individuals to connect quickly to local non-emergency support 24 hours/day thereby reducing escalation to emergency services.

Project Summary
Anchor is seeking a collaborative and organized Project Administrator to support the foundation’s Founder in the execution of a 90-day pilot project. The 90-day pilot project’s purpose will be to test the ANCHOR navigation app as an early-intervention, trauma-informed crisis regulation tool and community navigation support. An existing project plan has been developed by the founder that is designed to implement and evaluate the tool in a controlled manner and to test the tool’s readiness for scalability and full rollout.

The role is to provide project support and administration as the founder executes on the 90-day pilot project plan. The role involves tracking pilot project milestones, updating the plan as necessary, logging communications as well as risks and issues, and in general providing administrative support for the founder in the performance of their tasks within the plan.

Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Project Manager or as a Project Administrator (possibly in a Project Control Office role) leading discovery or assessment phases of a project
Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies
Experience facilitating collaborative planning sessions and supporting individuals to meet shared organizational milestones
Ability to translate operational issues and challenges into clear, actionable recommendations and tasks
Experience working with non-profit organizations or funding-constrained environments is a strong asset

Scope of Work
i) Project Planning & Administration
Support the execution of the 90 Pilot Project which will cover the implementation of tasks as defined in the Project Plan
Support the definition of project scope, deliverables, and dependencies by collaborating with the founder who currently owns the specific plan components
Create tracking systems to track progress, communications, risks and issues to ensure pilot project tasks and targets are achievable and met
ii) Collaboration and Integration
Facilitate regular check-ins with the founder to help translate project progress, action items, risks and issues back into the pilot project plan
Ensure that the plan remains grounded in goals of Anchor and the 90-day pilot project
iii) Monitoring & Evaluation Planning
Support the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure program outcomes and participant experience
Prepare project progress reports for the founder to demonstrate successful implementation of the project tasks and deliverables

Deliverables
The Project Administrator will have accountability for the progress-tracking of the 90-day Pilot Project Plan. Key deliverables include:
1. Project Plan in a trackable planning and management tool (the current plan is a Word document)
2. Project Status reports which track momentum and proactively flag potential issues and or risks to the founder
3. Risk Register for anticipating high-level issues and bottlenecks
4. Communications Log to track any communications with stakeholders that have an impact on the project plan
5. A framework for the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to help the founder measure and evaluate the pilot project’s goals

Accountability
The PM volunteer will have end-end accountability on project deliverables as defined, reporting to the Anchor Foundation founder and project sponsor, Rebecca Stephens.

Benefits

Additional Information
We may proceed with interviewing and engaging applicants before the application deadline.
We may ask the project manager to mentor a client team member to support raising awareness of project management techniques within the client organization.
