Executive Director Project Management Volunteers (PMV) We are seeking a passionate leader who relishes the idea of bridging the non-profit and project management sectors. PM-Volunteers is a unique organization with a proud history of giving back. Key Responsibilities • Strategic Leadership & Governance: Collaborate with senior operational leadership and the Board to refine and implement our vision and strategic plan. • External Relations & Advocacy: Serve as the primary spokesperson for PMV. Build and maintain relationships with community partners, academics, local chapters of PMI, and other groups active in the non-profit/social-profit space. • Policies & Procedures: Chairs the weekly senior team Ops Call, develops organizational policies and procedures. • Human Resources: Manage and mentor a diverse team to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture. • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure the organization adheres to relevant legal and regulatory requirements. • Financial Oversight: Trusted to maintain high level fiscal integrity. Standard Qualifications • Experience: Typically, 5–10+ years of leadership experience. • Skills: Public speaking and writing; strategic planning; change management; fundraising. • Local: Familiar with the BC environment, particularly the non-profit and project management sectors.
