FarmFolk CityFolk is a charitable not-for-profit organization. All proceeds raised at Feast of Fields go back into the local food economy to support local farmers and food producers. With your support, our programs:
• Help make farmers, who find themselves on the front lines of worsening climate impacts, part of the climate solution by supporting the adoption of agricultural practices that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and sequester carbon;
•Support the recovery of BC’s farmers and food producers hit hard by two years of losses due to the pandemic, flooding in the Fraser Valley, and extreme heat events;
•Strengthen local food systems by protecting agricultural biodiversity and increasing the adoption of low-carbon, regenerative agriculture;
•Inform consumers of the environmental and social impact of their food choices, equipping people to eat food that nourishes themselves and the planet;
•Work with farmers, seed growers, researchers, and backyard gardeners to develop a thriving ecological seed sector and increase local seed security;
•Celebrate local food by connecting farmers, chefs, retailers, and eaters to strengthen the market for locally-produced food;

Feast of Fields is FarmFolk CityFolk’s annual local food celebration and fundraiser, hosted this year in the Okanagan, Metro Vancouver and Vancouver Island. Over the past 25 years, we have hosted more than 50 feast events. As the largest and longest-running event series of its kind in Canada, Feast of Fields represents a valuable opportunity to elevate your brand and connect with the movers and shakers of BC’s local food economy.

We are so excited to be coming back to the farm this Feast season. The feast is a wandering, gourmet harvest festival attended by engaged local foodies, sustainably-minded consumers, social media influencers, and community and business leaders. Feast of Fields celebrates the connection between producer and chef, field and table, and farm folks and city folks. With wine glass and linen napkin in hand, guests stroll across a farmer’s field, around the barn, by the tractor and sometimes past the chicken coop, listening to live music and traveling from tent to tent tasting the best food and drink BC has to offer.

Okanagan Feast of Fields is Sunday, September 19 from noon - 4:00 pm at Wiseacre Farm Distillery in southeast Kelowna.
