My Friend Toothy® is seeking one or two energetic, reliable volunteers to represent our brand at the Pacific Dental Conference (PDC) on March 5–6 at the Vancouver Convention Centre. This is a fun, high-energy opportunity to be part of one of Canada’s largest dental conferences and yes, it includes stepping into our Toothy mascot. My Friend Toothy® is a pediatric oral health education company dedicated to helping children build positive dental experiences and healthy habits through engaging books, resources, and community outreach. At PDC, we’ll be connecting with dental professionals from across the province to share our mission of making oral health education fun, approachable, and empowering — and our volunteers play a big part in bringing that energy to life. What You’ll Be Doing: • Wearing the Toothy mascot (rotating if volunteering as a pair) • Assisting with photos and guiding attendees to the booth • Helping create a fun, welcoming booth presence Event Details: • March 5 & 6 • 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (both days) • Vancouver Convention Centre • Volunteer hours provided You may apply individually or as a pair. We welcome two volunteers who would like to rotate between mascot and support roles throughout the day. To comfortably and safely fit the mascot costume, this role is best suited for individuals who are approximately 5'4" and under and up to about 145 lbs. We are looking for someone friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with the public in a professional conference environment. If being a mascot is on your bucket list and you love bringing positive energy to events, we’d love to hear from you!
