Mount Pleasant Community Policing Centre
The Mount Pleasant Community Policing Centre (MPCPC) is a civilian-driven non-profit governed by a community-based board.
We believe that an inclusive and supportive neighbourhood is the foundation of community safety, so we strive to build a more connected and safer community through programming and collaboration.
Through volunteer-led initiatives such as patrol, road safety, clean up, and outreach, we enhance the well-being of our neighbourhood and create a community where everyone feels a sense of belonging, cared for, informed, and empowered, including those most vulnerable. We also operate a warm and welcoming drop-in office, where folks can connect with CPC programs and other services.
By fostering relationships between neighbours, businesses, service providers, and the VPD, we create opportunities for local solutions and reduce strain on emergency resources.
