The Mission to Seafarers - Vancouver provides practical, emotional, and spiritual support to seafarers from around the world who visit our port.

Seafarers spend months at sea, far from home and often isolated from family, community, and basic services. Our mission is to offer them a warm welcome, a listening ear, and a place to rest and recharge while in port. From ship visits and airport transfers to providing donated clothing and access to Wi-Fi, we aim to meet the everyday needs of these essential but often unseen workers in the global supply chain.

We are part of a global network of Missions in over 200 ports. Volunteers are at the heart of what we do—offering compassion, hospitality, and human connection to those who keep our world moving. Whether you’re helping in the seafarers' centre, delivering care packages, or lending your skills behind the scenes, your time and effort can make a world of difference to someone far from home.
