Trees of Joy Edmonton (Make-A-Wish Canada) - Event Volunteers

Trees of Joy, presented by CN, is a heartwarming and magical event that brings together compassionate corporate donors, with wish kids and their families, to make more wishes come true. The first Trees of Joy began in Toronto in 2016 with just eight trees and has now spread across Canada, attracting top corporate and community donors. We are looking for volunteers to help bring holiday joy to Wish Families from across Northern Alberta through supporting Trees of Joy Edmonton 2026!

Roles
Set-up Volunteers - will help load into the venue, unpack supplies, set-up and 'fluff' Christmas trees; help set-up tables with Make-A-Wish items; help tree sponsors when they arrive (up to 10 positions)

Registration Volunteers - will check in tree sponsors and ensure waivers are signed; check-in wish families and get them to complete waivers. Answer questions and keep wish families outside of the ballroom until event begins (FULL AT THIS TIME - WAITLIST)

Activation volunteers - will help at activity stations: craft & cookie decorating. Engage with attendees and help them with the experience. Might also be asked to sell raffle tickets or take photos for attendees. (up to 4 positions)
