Leave Out Violence (LOVE) BC’s Board is in charge of the overall visioning and direction of the organization. 

For over 20 years, Leave Out Violence (LOVE) BC has been at the forefront of youth violence prevention, offering support and resources to youth in British Columbia through artistic and movement practices. Through numerous art, games and self-defense activities, our programs aim to prevent violence from early on ages.

Board members are welcome to bring different expertise, such as leadership, youth worker or educator, fundraising, etc. The Board meets 5 times per year either online or in-person and we are open for new applications for our Annual General Meeting which will be in September.

Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Gain some networking and skills by joining different committees and being part of BC leading Youth Violence Prevention organization. Join our finance committee, strategic or programs committee and be part of shaping LOVE BC. Our Board can participate in free trainings on trauma informed practices, facilitation skills and non violence communication.
