Volunteer Youth Soccer Coach
Join Our Team – Make a Difference Through Soccer! KLM Soccer Club is a community-based, non-profit organization offering soccer programs for boys and girls ages 3–17. We are currently looking for enthusiastic volunteer coaches for our Fall/Winter 2025–26 season (September to February, with a winter break). As a volunteer coach, you’ll: • Coach youth players aged 10–17 (age group selection based on your comfort level) • Lead one 75-minute practice per week • Coach one game on Saturdays (approx. 2 hours including warm-up) • Volunteer under the supervision and guidance of our Player Development Team • Work alongside a Parent Coordinator to handle admin and equipment needs (transport • assistance provided if needed) • Foster a fun, inclusive, and positive team environment • Provide feedback to help players grow technically and tactically • Communicate clearly with parents, players, and club staff • Ensure all players get equal chances to play and improve • Follow KLM’s policies, including safety and conduct standards
Additional Details & Skills Required
As a volunteer coach, you’ll: • Coach and mentor a divisional-level team (U11–U18) • Lead engaging, age-appropriate training sessions • Attend games, practices, tournaments, and club meetings • Foster a fun, inclusive, and positive team environment • Provide feedback to help players grow technically/tactically • Communicate clearly with parents, players, & club staff • Ensure all players get equal chances to play and improve • Follow KLM’s policies, including safety and conduct standards
