Position Overview Justice 48 is seeking passionate and proactive Outreach Volunteers to help expand our network, strengthen partnerships, and support our mission of improving access to legal knowledge and justice-related initiatives. The Outreach Volunteer will serve as a bridge between Justice 48 and external organizations, legal professionals, researchers, and community partners. Key Responsibilities Partnership Development - Identify and connect with organizations, nonprofits, universities, legal clinics, and institutions whose missions align with Justice 48. - Build and maintain professional relationships with justice-focused organizations across different regions. - Assist in establishing collaborations, partnerships, and joint initiatives. Data Collection and Research - Collect and organize information, reports, and resources from partner organizations and relevant government/non-government institutions. - Conduct outreach research to identify potential collaborators, funding opportunities, and community needs. - Maintain accurate records of organizational contacts and partnership activities. Legal and Research Coordination - Work closely with legal representatives, legal researchers, and subject matter experts within Justice 48. - Facilitate communication between external organizations and Justice 48's legal and research teams. - Support the exchange of knowledge, research findings, and legal resources. Community Engagement and Representation - Represent Justice 48 professionally in meetings, online events, and networking opportunities. - Promote Justice 48's mission, projects, and initiatives to external stakeholders. - Assist in organizing outreach campaigns, webinars, workshops, and collaborative events. Strategic Outreach - Develop strategies to expand Justice 48's network and visibility. - Identify opportunities for partnerships with universities, law firms, NGOs, research institutes, and civic organizations. - Provide recommendations on how Justice 48 can better engage with legal and justice communities. Qualifications and Expectations - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Professional and respectful approach to relationship-building. - Interest in law, justice, human rights, public policy, or social impact initiatives. - Strong research and organizational abilities. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team. - Comfortable communicating with professionals from diverse backgrounds and cultures. - Commitment to confidentiality and ethical handling of information. - Ability to take initiative and proactively identify new opportunities.
