Chinese Speaking Volunteers Needed to Visit Chinese Seniors

Jewish Seniors Alliance is a  community service for seniors from all religious and cultural backgrounds.

We are currently in need of volunteers who speak Cantonese and Mandarin ,  We offer a well rounded training in volunteer training with seniors.  The training is offered at no cost and at the end of the training you will get a certificate.

Volunteers must live in Vancouver. 

The training consists of five sessions all on zoom and the sixth session in person on Mondays and Wednesdays.
 
Next training starting Wednesday, October 15, 2025
  and continuing  for three Mondays and two  Wednesdays, 530pm-830pm

Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?

The volunteer training will provide Chinese speaking volunteers an opportunity to increase the knowledge of seniors issues.  The program is excellent for students who want a career in medicine, nursing, social work and occupational therapy.
