Chinese Speaking Volunteers Needed to Visit Chinese Seniors

Jewish Seniors Alliance is a community service for seniors from all religious and cultural backgrounds. We are currently in need of volunteers who speak Cantonese and Mandrin , We offer a well rounded training in volunteer training with seniors. The training is offered at no cost and at the end of the training you will get a certificate. The training consists of five sessions all on zoom and the sixth session in person. Next training starting Tuesday, March 19 and continuing on Thursday, March 21, from 5 pm- 8 pm on zoom for three consecutive Tuesdays and three consecutive Thursdays
Certification or Education Required
You will receive a certificate upon completion
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
The volunteer training will provide Chinese speaking volunteers an opportunity to increase the knowledge of seniors issues. The program is excellent for students who want a career in medicine, nursing, social work and occupational therapy.
