Founding Board Director (Volunteer)

Location:Remote (Canada)

Commitment: 4–8 hours per month

Term: Two-year renewable term

The Opportunity

We are seeking accomplished leaders to join our :Founding Board of Directors

As a Founding Board Director, you will help shape the strategic direction, governance, and long-term sustainability of a growing organization committed to creating meaningful social impact across Canada.

What You'll Do

* Provide strategic guidance and governance oversight.
* Attend quarterly Board meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
* Review and approve key organizational strategies, policies, and budgets.
* Champion IWIL Ignite's mission within your professional and community networks.
* Help foster relationships, share networks, and open doors to partnerships, collaborations, funding opportunities, and strategic connections.
* Contribute your expertise through Board committees or special initiatives.
* Uphold the highest standards of governance, integrity, and accountability.

Who We're Looking For

We're seeking accomplished professionals with 20+ years of leadership experience who are passionate about creating impact and helping build a high-growth Canadian nonprofit. You bring strategic insight, sound judgment, and a willingness to share your expertise and networks to advance our mission.

Applicants must:

* Be at least 30 years of age.
* Be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada.
