Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Director, Grants & Strategic Partnerships who understands Canadian government funding ecosystems and can help secure public and institutional funding for workforce development, digital literacy, AI training, and innovation initiatives and also build alliance with the crown corporation.

This role requires strategic thinking, structured writing ability, and strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and municipal funding programs relevant to education, workforce development, technology adoption, and non-profit capacity building.

Key Responsibilities :

Grant Strategy
• Identify relevant federal and provincial funding opportunities aligned with digital literacy and AI upskilling
• Develop a 6–12 month grant pipeline strategy
• Align program design with grant eligibility frameworks
Proposal Development
• Write compelling, data-driven grant proposals
• Develop logic models, theory of change, and measurable KPIs
• Draft budgets and justification narratives
• Coordinate supporting documents and compliance materials

Research & Compliance
• Monitor Government of Canada, provincial (especially BC), and municipal grant portals
• Ensure compliance with reporting, eligibility, and documentation standards
• Support impact reporting and post-award documentation
Collaboration
• Work with leadership to define programs, metrics, and cost structures
• Gather data from program leads to support applications
• Support partnership proposals with corporate or public institutions
Required Qualifications
• 3+ years of grant writing and experience in building alliance for non-profits
• Proven success securing Canadian government funding
• Strong understanding of workforce development, skills training, digital innovation, or education grants
• Experience with outcome-based reporting and KPI frameworks
• Ability to translate program ideas into fundable proposals
• Strong budget development capability
Preferred Experience
• Familiarity with federal funding streams such as workforce development, youth employment, innovation, or digital transformation programs
• Experience working with technology, education, or skills training non-profits
• Knowledge of BC funding ecosystem is an asset

Compensation
