Volunteer for the IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer's

1 Athletes Way (Creekside Community Centre), Vancouver, BC, V5Y 0B1 [map]
3-5 hours
The 2024 Vancouver IG Wealth Management Walk for Alzheimer’s will take place on Sunday, May 26, 2024 at the Creekside Community Centre.

The Walk is a way British Columbians can celebrate and remember people in their lives who have been affected by dementia, while they raise valuable funds and awareness to create change in their communities.

The Walk is the Alzheimer Society of B.C.’s flagship fundraising event and a great way for you to demonstrate leadership in your community by stepping up and showing you care!

Join us as an Event Day Volunteer and help make the 2024 Vancouver Walk a success. Your generous contribution of time, skill and effort will ensure that the Walk and festivities run smoothly.

•	Time commitment: a few hours on Sunday, May 26, 2024 between 10:30am and 3pm
*Certain positions require one or two meetings prior to the Walk for training
•	Volunteer roles available
o	Greeters
o	Set Up/Clean Up Crew
o	Route Marshals

Funds raised from the event will ensure that the Alzheimer Society of B.C. can continue to provide support, education, and information to people affected by dementia as well as research into the disease to provide a better future for the people living with it.

With your help, we can take a step together towards achieving our mission to build a community of care around the people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.
