Also required for this position: Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere: Greet our singers with a smile, offer assistance, and help answer any questions they may have. Work with the Coordinator to organize weekly snacks and refreshments: If applicable organize a sign-up schedule for snacks and help set out and clean up refreshments for our post-rehearsal gatherings. Assist with the rehearsal room setup 30 minutes before rehearsal begins. This includes setting out the binders and moving chairs.

The Helena Choir brings together people with cognitive decline, their care partners and members of the community to sing in Choirs that foster joy, well-being, purpose, and  community understanding.  

As a Rehearsal Site Volunteer, you’ll be a friendly face and a supportive  presence that helps to make our rehearsals a welcoming, joyful space. By working closely with the Program & Community Engagement Coordinator, you’ll help manage logistics,  communication, and coordination of the participants, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Your contributions will help create an organized and enriching experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Additional Details & Skills Required
The volunteer will always work closely with staff person and be supported.
