** The problem we’re solving **
Too many students, especially Black, Indigenous, and immigrant youth, stay silent when faced with discrimination and bullying because they don’t feel confident, heard, or equipped to speak up.
Our work changes that through play.

* Who we are **
Griottes Polyglottes Scty is a non-profit that uses improv and theatre to help youth and immigrants build confidence, find their voice, and speak up confidently for social justice.

** What we do **
We deliver interactive workshops and programs in schools and community organizations across BC.
We teach real-life tools through games, role play, and laughter to create lasting transformation against racism, bullying, and discrimination, and for job interviews... in both French and English.

** Our next project **
🎉 We’re launching a 2-week summer camp this August 2025 for students in Grades 3 to 8 (1 week in French, 1 week in English).
The focus? Empowering youth with tools to respond to racism and bullying and build lasting self-confidence just before the school year starts.

Foundation: Griottes Polyglottes Arts & EDI Society was incorporated in 2023, as a not-for-profit society, on the ancestral and unceded Indigenous territories of the xʷməθkʷəjˀəm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səl̓ilwətaɁɬ (Tsleil Waututh) First Nations, also known as Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
