Position title: Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator 
Organization: Gal Senior Care Foundation
Location: Remote, anywhere in Canada
Time contribution: 15 hours per month
About GSC
The Gal Senior Care Foundation is a registered Canadian charity that provides practical financial-fraud education to seniors and those who care about them. Through seminars, webinars, community outreach, and educational resources, GSC helps seniors recognize scams, protect themselves, and respond to fraud without shame or judgment.
Role overview
GSC is seeking motivated fundraising volunteers to help develop sustainable financial support for its senior fraud-prevention programs. This role involves researching fundraising opportunities, approaching potential community and corporate partners, supporting campaigns, and helping organize fundraising initiatives. 
Responsibilities
•	Research corporate, community, and individual fundraising opportunities 
•	Help develop fundraising campaigns and sponsorship packages 
•	Identify prospective sponsors and community partners 
•	Draft outreach emails, partnership proposals, and donor communications 
•	Support fundraising events and online campaigns 
•	Maintain organized records of contacts, conversations, and outcomes 
•	Collaborate with GSC leadership on fundraising goals  
Qualifications
•	Strong written and verbal communication 
•	Professional and comfortable contacting organizations 
•	Organized, dependable, and comfortable following up 
•	Interest in fundraising, sales, marketing, business development, or nonprofit work 
•	Previous fundraising or sponsorship experience is an asset but not required
