Human Resources Associate

Fluent in Minds is a youth-led organization dedicated to improving the accessibility of mental health care and awareness of mental health to those who do not speak English. Our volunteers translate mental health care information to lower language and stigma barriers to professional help.

HR associates will work closely with and report to HR directors to ensure that all projects within the translations department run smoothly and follow deadlines. They will primarily focus on managing workloads and accountability for Translators, Language Translation Directors, and Language Advisors, to contribute to lower language barriers to mental health information. They will additionally assist with any HR projects that require extra support. 

Responsibilities and tasks:
• Be in active communication with the Translations Program Manager, Language Translation Directors, and Human Resources Directors  about the projects. 
• Checking in with translators about deadlines and project progress
• Liaise with Translations Program Managers to check in about deadlines, and schedule individual meetings.
• Keeping track of translator performance, qualifications, and skillsets. 
• Responsible for award and appreciation projects. 
• Communicate availability, questions, and changes in commitment to the HR department.
