Care Home Snack Store cashier
This long running store nested inside the residents Social Centre isn't very busy, but is important. We sell at-cost drinks, snacks and supplies to residents and staff of a long term care facility in Marpole, Vancouver. Hours are generally 9:30-2:30 M-F. An honorarium is provided. Seeking a long term volunteer who is interested in socializing with people with different abilities, can work independently, and can entertain yourself during gaps between customers. This would be suitable for an individual or a pair of people, working together.
Additional Details & Skills Required
You would work side-by-side with current volunteers for at least 5 days before doing role on your own.
