Looking for Board Members for Crossreach Project Vancouver

We are looking for volunteer board members for Crossreach Project of Vancouver, a non-profit adult day centre located in Point Grey, Vancouver. Crossreach supports seniors 55 and up who live in the community while trying to maintain their independence and overall wellness as well as supporting their families and caregivers.  Our organization is a part of the health care system funded by the Province of BC through the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (VCH). Currently we provide services to approximately 65 seniors with social, recreational and nutritional supports.

Board members meet approximately 6 times a year in the evenings on zoom and in-person to provide direction for the executive director on the implementation of the contract from VCH, issues relating to strategic direction as well as staffing and financial management. We are seeking board members with interest and skills in financial management, human resources, fundraising, grant writing, senior care, and health care. Board members will be thanked with occasional social dinners before meetings.
