Shop & Gallery Attendant
Do you want to be surrounded by and talk about art? The CCBC shop and gallery is the perfect place for you! We are looking for outgoing, craft lovers who want to help support artists and sell their work. The shop & gallery attendant is responsible for watching the shop, maintaining the displays, and helping with miscellaneous shop tasks like cleaning, polishing, etc. Engaging with our visitors is always our first priority! You will learn all about our artists and about craft (pottery, jewellery, glass, wood, textiles and more) so you can share all about the incredible work we showcase.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
This is a great opportunity to learn more about craft and engage with the arts sector and community in BC. It is also a great space to be inspired by all the amazing artwork we carry. If you're interested in learning more about retail and gaining experience in sales, we provide training and guidance, as well as references upon request.
