This volunteer role is perfect for anyone interested in community building, event coordination, and creating spaces that make an impact.

📋 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
- Collaborate closely with the Slack moderator to ensure seamless communication
- Facilitate discussions, address inquiries, and foster a sense of belonging
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging events aligned with our mission and community interests
- Work collaboratively with other teams to tailor events to specific needs
- Create a welcoming and inclusive space for all community members
- Engage in discussions to identify opportunities for community enhancement
- Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing improvement

🔑 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
- Motivation to grow skills and gain hands-on experience as a community manager
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work asynchronously, independently, and without direct supervision
- Curious and passionate about our mission to empower underrepresented genders in tech
- Confidence in decision-making to contribute to a positive community experience
- Excitement about being part of a community that empowers underrepresented genders in tech
- Maintain a communication style that is supportive, approachable, anti-racist, anti-oppressive, and inclusive

🗓️ 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀
- A minimum 6-month commitment is strongly preferred, with the possibility of an extension
- 3-5 hours per week commitment
- Weekly group check-in meetings with co-founders for support and guidance
- Flexible volunteer schedule and hours
- Remote position
