Canadian Assisted Travel Society

CATS aims to occupy a unique space in the non-profit arena serving the disabled community.
Our roles are:
1) Educate the general public about the challenges faced by disabled people when they travel for health, business or pleasure.
2) Advocate for the disabled community to suppliers such as travel agents and service providers
3) Evaluate the services of companies involved in the travel industry that center to the disabled community.
4) Assist disabled people with funding and grant to make travel possible and affordable.
We will accomplish our roles by seeking funding from government grants, corporate and individual donations.
We are unique in that we are solely focused on travel for disabled people who require information and assistance to meet the special challenges while travelling.
