Volunteer Opportunity – Spanish-Speaking Volunteer (Oruguitas Latinas Program)

We are currently seeking a caring and reliable Spanish-speaking volunteer to support our Oruguitas Latinas program.

Oruguitas Latinas is a welcoming space for Latin families with children under 5 years old to connect, play, and learn together. Families can interact with their children, socialize, participate in art activities, attend informative sessions, sing songs, and plan activities as a group.

Volunteer Schedule:

Second and fourth Saturdays of each month

10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (excluding long weekends)

Volunteer Responsibilities:

-Support childcare workers and engage with children in a safe, respectful, and nurturing manner
-Communicate effectively in Spanish with families and children
-Assist with setting up and tidying the space before and after sessions
-Help prepare and serve snacks
-Support facilitators during activities as needed

We are looking for someone who is:

-Fluent in Spanish (required)
-Responsible, friendly, and proactive
-Passionate about working with children and families
-Team-oriented and willing to support a variety of tasks
