Join Our Team as a Volunteer Coordinator / Festival Ambassador for 2025 TAIWANfest!

Be a leader at TAIWANfest!

Take on a proactive role at the festival by leading fellow volunteers and ensuring the event runs smoothly. Work closely with the core staff and get an inside look into the behind-the-scenes of a cultural festival. Flex your communication skills and build confidence in leading a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule volunteers and assign tasks onsite.
Communicate with volunteers and staff throughout the festival.
Learn programming details before the festival and train volunteers on festival programming and onsite expectations.
Adapt to situational and environmental changes during the festival.
Be ready to help set up, take down, and stay in communication with staff throughout the festival.

Required Qualifications:
Commitment to attending orientation sessions prior to the festival and all three days of the festival.
Ability to adapt to change and work with minimal supervision.
Great interpersonal skills and the ability to take charge.
Experience with Google Suite and good time management skills.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an asset.
