2025 TAIWANfest: Pre Festival Volunteers - Stage Manager

Join Our Team as a Volunteer Stage Manager for 2025 TAIWANfest!

Be the star behind the TAIWANfest stage!

Stage Managers work closely with our staff, emcees, and performers to bring a spectacular live show to our audiences. Ensure the programming goes to schedule and adapt to changes during the festival. Practise communication skills and be a part of the festival with the best view of the stage.

Key Responsibilities:
Learn festival programming and stage tech riders prior to the festival
Check in with staff and artists backstage and ensure scheduled programming runs smoothly
Communicate with performers, technicians, emcees, and staff throughout the scheduled programming
Help set up the stage where needed

Required Qualifications:
Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly attitude.
Commitment to attending orientation sessions prior to the festival and at least one whole day of the festival.
Ability to speak a second language is an asset.
Ability to adapt to changes with the scheduled programming.
