Join Our Team as a Volunteer English-Chinese Translator for 2025 TAIWANfest!

Help bridge language barriers as an English-Chinese Translator!

As one of Canada’s largest bilingual events, TAIWANfest ensures audiences can enjoy the festival to the fullest. Contribute to a meaningful cultural event by putting your language skills to work. Individuals fluent in both English and Chinese (Mandarin priority) are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
Translate text for website, onsite signage, social media, etc.
Work with staff to understand programming content
Research and present content on topics relevant to the festival’s theme

Required Qualifications
Fluency in written Chinese (traditional) and English
Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects
Experience in office applications such as MS Office, Google Suite, YouTube, etc.
Experience in translating written documents
