Young Scientist Program Volunteer

Are you passionate about science, education, and making a difference in the lives of immigrant and refugee children? Join our Young Scientist Program at Arrival Aid, where we are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help design and create engaging STEM booklets.

About the Role:
As a volunteer, you will be part of a dedicated team that develops educational materials aimed at introducing children to STEM through hands-on experiments. These booklets will serve as a resource to guide young learners through the theory and practice of STEM experiments conducted in our workshops.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the team to design and create STEM booklets.
- Write clear and concise sections on the scientific theory behind the experiments.
- Ensure that the content is accessible and engaging for children from diverse backgrounds.
- Utilize Canvas to design and format the booklets.

Requirements:
- Basic understanding of health science concepts.
- Proficiency in Canvas or similar design tools.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their learning journey.
