Remote Volunteer: Communications Coordinator

The Arrival Aid Foundation is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to join our Communications team as a Communications Coordinator to help us engage with our community of immigrants and refugees and build our social media presence. Responsibilities (flexible and shared across the group): - Create and schedule engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.). - Help build and enhance our social media presence through engaging posts and creative campaigns. - Create and manage polls, surveys, and other interactive content to foster engagement. - Monitor and respond to messages, comments, and inquiries on social platforms. - Assist in coordinating and promoting Q&A sessions with newcomers. - Support awareness campaigns and online event promotions. - Work with our team to ensure messaging aligns with our mission and values. - Track engagement metrics and suggest ways to improve outreach (optional). Ideal Candidate: - Strong written communication skills with English fluency. - Solid experience and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, etc.). - Passion for immigrant and refugee support. - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. - Experience with Canva Pro is an asset.
