STEM Education Instructor/Teacher – Teach Students Online 🖥️🎓

Futurvia Minds Society is one of the top student-led STEM education nonprofit organizations recognized by the Government of British Columbia. Out of the many initiatives we offer, one of our flagship programs on expanding access to high-quality STEM education through is through 100% free, online workshops. We design and deliver hands-on classes in areas such as 3D modelling, engineering, coding, and electronics to students across different communities.

We are looking for motivated volunteers to join as STEM Instructors and help lead engaging, structured sessions for students. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching, enjoy working with students, and want to make a direct impact in STEM education.

Instructors will be supported with training and guidance before leading sessions. You may or may not need to create your own course and/or also collaborate with a team of student leaders and educators to continuously improve program quality and delivery! :)

Additional Details & Skills Required
This is a fully online volunteer role with flexible commitment. Training and support will be provided. Lesson material and partners may or may not be provided. Volunteers must communicate clearly, stay active, and provide at least one week’s notice if they plan to step away.
Certification or Education Required
No formal certification required, but would benefit. Applicants should have a strong interest or background in STEM (e.g., engineering, coding, 3D design, electronics). Current high school or post-secondary students are encouraged to apply.
