Video Editor Volunteer (Mini Documentary Project)
📽️ About the Project
We’re creating a mini documentary that captures the highlights and impact of our Black Educators Apprenticeship Program (BEAP) — a youth-led initiative empowering students to explore teaching and community leadership. We have about 15 hours of raw event footage, and we’re looking for a creative, motivated video editor (or student in a film/media program) who can help us bring this story to life.
🎞️ What You’ll Do
- Review and organize existing footage from various BEAP events
- Edit clips into a cohesive and engaging mini documentary
- Add basic titles, transitions, background music, and branding
- Collaborate with our team for story direction and feedback
💡 What You’ll Gain

🧠 Ideal Skills
- Comfortable using Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
- Basic storytelling or documentary editing experience
- Creative eye for pacing, emotion, and visual flow
- Strong sense of initiative and ability to work independently
