Led by McGill University’s Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy and citizens’ assembly experts MASS LBP, this three-day Youth Assembly on Digital Rights and Safety will directly engage a diverse group of 39 18-year-olds from across Canada, in dialogue with each other, academic experts, and policymakers. The Assembly, which will be held at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg, Manitoba, aims to determine how young people understand digital rights and what policymakers can do to transform their lived experiences, concerns, and considerations into policy that supports their flourishing online.
