Volunteer Researcher: Clear Canadian Online Gaming Information

Ongoing
Help make public information about Canadian online gaming and crypto-casino topics easier to review and understand. This remote volunteer role is for people who enjoy sorting through details, asking what a source actually supports, and turning complex material into clear notes for everyday readers.

You may review publicly available pages, compare claims across sources, flag missing context or uncertainty, and draft plain-language summaries of terms, payment-related topics, and site features. The aim is not to promote a platform or tell readers what to choose; it is to make information easier to check.

Care, curiosity, and readable writing matter more than prior industry experience. You should be comfortable citing where information came from, separating facts from assumptions, and revising when a claim cannot be confirmed. Contributions are remote and flexible, with tasks that can fit around other commitments.

You will build practical research, editing, and information-literacy skills while helping create a more useful public resource.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
You’ll practise turning a messy set of tabs, notes and competing claims into something another person can use. The work builds habits in tracing sources, recording what is confirmed versus uncertain, and editing dense material into plain-language summaries. It is useful experience for students, community projects and any role where careful judgment and clear communication matter.
