Event Day Volunteers - Growling Beaver
As a Growling Beaver event day volunteer, you will help raise awareness about Parkinson's in your community while having fun doing it! Event day volunteers provide support in a variety of ways. By helping with pre-event set up and registration on Friday, cheering on riders as they complete the route, supporting participant registration, helping with set up, and everything in between, volunteers are an important component of a successful event. We are looking to fill the following volunteer shifts: Friday, October 3, 2025 4:00-6:30PM - Registration 4:00-6:30PM - Merchandise sales 4:00-6:30PM - Beaver mascot Saturday, October 4, 2025 5:45-10:30AM - Registration 7:00AM-12:00PM - Merchandise sales 7:30-10:40AM - Windswept Cider Checkpoint 8:40AM-12:25PM - Kimberley General Store/Justin's Oven Checkpoint 12:00-2:00PM - Bayview Park Pavilion Checkpoint 10:15AM-12:05PM - Rock Union Checkpoint 10:00AM-1:55PM - Kolapore Checkpoint 12:00-4:00PM - Merchandise sales 12:00-4:00PM - Beaver mascot 12:00-4:00PM - Information booth 10:00AM-4:15PM - Rob Roy - Osprey Museum Checkpoint 12:00-5:30PM - Finish line welcome crew After you sign up, a Parkinson Canada Event Coordinator will be in touch with you to discuss the schedule and assign you to your shift.
