Recent years have been plagued with scammers and scalpers in the pet industry, especially for the adoption and rehoming of puppies across Canada. Paction is an organization that is providing tools to prevent scammers and scalpers on both sides. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that only the most reputable smaller breeders persist, which will eliminate the opportunities for puppy mills and scalpers alike. Paction's mission also promotes only responsible breeding, which will eliminate the burden on rescues and prevent euthanazation practices.
