About the Walk of Hope
The Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope is the country’s largest ovarian cancer fundraising event, bringing communities together every September to support life-changing research, advocacy, and programs for people living with and at risk of ovarian cancer.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Walk Day Volunteers help create a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for participants. Duties may include:
Greeting and registering participants
Supporting set-up and tear-down
Route marshalling and cheering sections
Assisting with event activities and other tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For
Friendly, positive, and comfortable communicating with participants
Strong teamwork and customer service skills
Reliable, punctual, and adaptable in a fast-paced event environment
Time Commitment
Attend the Walk of Hope event in person at your local location
Participate in meetings or training sessions as needed
