Marketing & Social Media – Maple Wow

We’re looking for a Marketing & Social Media Volunteer to help grow our audience and expand our reach across Canada.

This is a great opportunity if you want to:

• Build real-world marketing experience
• Shape the voice of a growing media platform
• Work on meaningful, Canada-focused content

📱 Responsibilities
• Manage and grow social media accounts (Instagram, Youtube, Tiktok, etc.)
• Create and schedule engaging posts
• Help promote new articles and stories
• Suggest and execute growth strategies
• Engage with followers and build community
• Help with growing funding

🎯 What We’re Looking For
• Interest in marketing, media, or communications
• Familiarity with social platforms (bonus if you’ve managed accounts before)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Self-starter who can work independently
• Passion for Canada 🇨🇦

✨ Bonus (Not Required)
• Experience with tools like Photoshop, Google Docs, or Capcut
• Basic analytics knowledge (what performs well and why)
• Content creation (graphics, short videos, etc.)
