Workshop Reminder Caller

LGFB is seeking a Workshop Reminder Caller to check-in with participants registered for upcoming sessions.

The Workshop Reminder Caller will help ensure participants are prepared for their upcoming online session by reaching out ahead of time to confirm attendance and provide key information. These reminder calls help participants feel welcomed and supported before the workshop begins.

Who You Are

•	Comfortable speaking with participants by phone
•	Able to follow a reference sheet to adjust time zones when calling participants
•	Willing to learn how to use the volunteer online portal 
•	Familiar with how to join a Zoom meeting
•	Have access to a phone with a free long-distance plan within Canada

What You’ll Do

•	Use the online portal to access the registration list 24 hours leading up to the workshop
•	Call registered participants to remind them of the upcoming workshop and highlight the time in their time zone
•	Answer questions related to workshop content, format, and basic technological requirements
•	Report back to the volunteer team and staff for any action required, including the need to reregister, technical support, or specific questions or concerns participants hope to have answered during the workshop
•	Act as an ambassador for LGFB and comply with standards of confidentiality, participant care, and product/business neutrality
•	Commit to supporting 12 workshops per year on a regular monthly schedule, with the possibility of providing backup reminder call support to other teams if able
