Key Responsibilities
● Serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers before and during the Summit, providing clear updates, schedules, and briefing materials.
● Manage the master volunteer schedule and coordinate shift check-ins and check-outs.
● Ensure all event areas and volunteer positions are appropriately staffed throughout the Summit.
● Coordinate on-site volunteer placements and reassign volunteers based on real-time event needs.
● Ensure volunteers are supported with appropriate breaks, resources, and information.
● Facilitate volunteer briefings and respond to questions or concerns throughout the event.
● Foster a positive, welcoming, and motivating environment for the volunteer team.
● Work closely with LetsStopAIDS staff and event organizers to identify and quickly resolve staffing or operational challenges.
● Jump in to support other event needs as required in a fast-paced environment.
