Who Are We? LetsStopAIDS, Canada’s largest youth-led HIV charity, has been accelerating the global HIV response since 2004. With over 15,000 volunteers and 10 global projects, the organization has impacted more than 300,000 youth worldwide. About the Summit NoTimeToWait is a two-day national summit where youth lead the conversation on the questions others won’t ask—demanding the right to learn, be heard, and take control of our health. Designed by youth, for youth, the Summit calls on us to take collective action because if we don’t fight for our future, no one else will. We are looking for volunteers for this year’s Summit, taking place Friday, November 6 and Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Polish Combatants’ Hall (SPK), 206 Beverley St, Toronto, ON M5T 1Z3. Overview We are looking for friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic volunteers to help support the day-to-day operations of NoTimeToWait 2026. As a General Volunteer, you will help create a welcoming and organized experience for attendees, speakers, and fellow volunteers. You may support registration, event setup, session transitions, food and beverage service, merchandise distribution, wayfinding, and other event activities throughout the Summit. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on event experience, meet other young people, and contribute to a youth-led national health and advocacy initiative. No previous event experience is required—we are looking for people who are dependable, willing to learn, and ready to jump in where support is needed. Key Responsibilities ● Assist with setup and breakdown for daily activities, sessions, workshops, and other Summit programming. ● Support attendee registration, check-in, and welcoming. ● Help attendees navigate the venue and direct them to relevant sessions, workshops, and activities. ● Provide information about the daily itinerary and help answer general attendee questions. ● Assist with serving drinks, snacks, and other refreshments during breaks and social activities. ● Support the distribution of merchandise, swag, and other Summit materials. ● Assist specialized volunteer teams and LetsStopAIDS staff with event tasks as needed. ● Help maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and organized environment throughout the Summit.
