Marketing & Communications Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist will support the marketing needs of Global Peace Network, with a focus on creative content development. The position will be responsible for the creation, implementation and management of GPN marketing materials including quarterly newsletters, social media posts, advertisements, & the organizational website. The position will also share responsibility of connecting with partnering organizations for content creation & development.

Core Expectations:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with design/layout of content for wide-variety of media, including web, collateral, online/digital media
Proven ability to write compelling copy
Own and update content as needed, including presentations, infographics, web content, etc.
Maintain marketing materials and templates
Experience of digital marketing, including web, video and email
Able to work well in a fast-paced environment, on deadline
Able to attend meetings as needed
Core Requirements

MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, PPT and Outlook
Google Drive skills, including Docs, Sheets, Slides & Gmail
Graphic programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar
Experience with HTML and Marketing Automation softwares is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, marketing communications, journalism or market management is a plus
