Food Prep & Server

Seems like a rather unassuming position, yes? Prep some food. How hard can it be?

You’re right. The work is simple. Make Caesar salad. Serve food made by Oak Park Deli and Family Bakery Cafe with Caesar salad on the side. That’s easy… except…

There is cutting the lettuce for Caesar salad. Cutting the prepared food into servings. Plating the food. Cleaning dishes and cutlery. Is it getting a little more complex?

As you can imagine, food handler training is required. Oh, an important point - the kitchen is on the second floor and the event is happening on the third floor. There’s a good chance you’ll get in all your steps.

You will also be putting food into an oven and taking it out. Let’s avoid burns, yes?
