Nobody is shortlisted or interviewed. Members elect the board by secret ballot on October 27, and may also nominate candidates from the floor that day. Baby Ghosts centres voices and perspectives frequently marginalized in games, and we strive for a Board that represents the diversity of our participants and the needs of our communities. We enthusiastically welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
Governance experience on the board of a registered charity at a moment that matters: our first election of directors, a whole board seated at once, and real say in how a small organization is run. Orientation on our mission, programs, governance policies and by-laws. Anti-racism and anti-oppression training at our cost. And a real connection to the cooperative movement.
