This is an exciting opportunity to join the Executive Office of Africa Sixth Region Global (A6RG), headquartered in Toronto, Canada. We are seeking two highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Executive Assistants to support the Executive Leadership Team.

The successful candidates will work directly with the Deputy Secretary General and the VP, Commissions and Programs, providing executive, administrative, and operational support while contributing to initiatives that advance diaspora engagement, international development, economic empowerment, and global partnerships.

This role offers unique exposure to senior leaders, diplomats, policymakers, civil society organizations, private sector stakeholders, and international development partners across Africa, the Caribbean, Europe, North America, and beyond.

The position is ideal for individuals seeking hands-on experience in executive leadership, governance, international relations, project coordination, and organizational management within a dynamic global environment. Candidates will have the opportunity to develop professional skills, expand their international network, and contribute meaningfully to initiatives that impact communities worldwide.

Duties: 
•	Provide high-level administrative support to senior leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, correspondence, document preparation, and follow-up on key action items.
•	Serve as a professional point of contact between the Executive Office, board members, partners, regional representatives, community leaders, and international stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication. 
•	Organize executive meetings, conferences, virtual sessions, delegations, and special events related to Africa Sixth Region Global initiatives, including agendas, minutes, logistics, briefing materials, and post-meeting reports.
•	Conduct research, prepare reports, maintain confidential records, draft presentations, and support the development of strategic documents, and organizational updates.
•	Manage sensitive information with discretion, support executive decision-making, prioritize competing demands, and ensure the Executive Office operates efficiently, professionally, and in alignment with the organization’s mission and goals.
•	Scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the executive team
•	Monitoring and managing the Executive team’s inbox, responding to inquiries, and routing communications appropriately.
•	Information Management: Maintaining organized filing systems electronically.
•	Relationship Management: Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including board members and staff
•	Confidentiality: Handling sensitive information with discretion and always maintaining confidentiality.
•	Problem Solving: Addressing issues that arise and escalating them to the Executive team when necessary.
•	Participate in other assigned duties relevant to the executive team
•	Support governance and accountability processes by tracking executive decisions, monitoring action items, preparing meeting records, and ensuring timely follow-up on assigned deliverables.
•	Assist with maintaining stakeholder databases, membership records, executive contact lists, and CRM systems to support organizational engagement and reporting.
•	Support virtual and global operations by coordinating online collaboration platform, digital communications tools, document management system and remote team activities. 

SKILLS: 

•	Minimum three years’ work experience in global setting (preferably in a not-for-profit, intergovernmental, and or public sector setting)
•	Strong written and verbal communication skills in at least two African Union and United Nations Languages (preferably English and French)
•	Very strong administrative skills with the ability to solve problems.
•	Excellent working knowledge of computers, software, and windows operating systems.
•	Ability to take initiative and to work with minimal supervision in a high paced setting.
•	Ability to work and familiarize with high-level personnel in differing sectors.
•	Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative.
•	Confident, conversation starter with ability to be in room with global leaders and stakeholders.
•	Adaptive, with ability to serve virtually using their own hardware (laptop, tablet, phone etc)
•	Willingness to be part of the founding team, to grow, and familiarize with global processes within international development
•	Youth under 35 with relevant experience, leadership potential, and digital skills are strongly encouraged to apply
