Are you passionate about supporting local businesses and connecting with your community? Join the Portobello West team as a volunteer for our 2025 Summer Market, taking place on Saturday, June 28th, 2025.

This vibrant event will feature 39 local BC vendors, offering a wide variety of fashion, art, jewelry, skincare, home décor, and more. With fun activities and unique products, there's something for everyone to enjoy, and you can help make it all happen!

We are seeking enthusiastic, community-minded individuals who are excited about local art, design, and entrepreneurship. Volunteers will be instrumental in creating a welcoming, engaging, and well-organized experience for visitors and vendors alike.

Key Responsibilities:
Setup & Takedown Support: Assist with the setup and removal of Portobello West signage and marketing materials.
Crowd Engagement: Actively engage with the public to attract and welcome them into the market, encouraging foot traffic and elevating the event experience.
Customer Interaction: Greet attendees warmly and direct any inquiries to the appropriate staff.
Vendor Support: Assist vendors throughout the day, including helping with questions and providing short breaks.
Crowd Management: Monitor visitor flow to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
