Oak Avenue Neighbourhood Hub Society is a neighbourhood house connecting and bringing people from all walks of life together to thrive in our homes, communities and city. Our demographic is diverse and our programs meet community members where they are at- whether they are seniors, youth, or young families, newcomers or long-time residents, and low-income or in difficult transitions.

The Clothes Closet is set up to provide free clothing for the babies and children of low-income families (up to 12 years of age). This service is drop-in, and registration can be completed on site at the Hub.
We need volunteers to be at the Clothes Closet, welcome families and help them find proper free clothing for their children. Volunteer will be working every Tuesday from 10 am-2 pm.
Why should you volunteer for this opportunity?
• Increased connection with community members
• Contributing to the smooth running of a community organization
• Enjoyment from helping others
• Develop personal and costumer service skills
• Teamwork with other volunteers
• Lunch provided on Tuesdays
• Letter of reference
