Kismet Learning Centre is dedicated to supporting children and youth with autism and other developmental differences through evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centered services. We believe that every child deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and participate meaningfully in their community. Our team works collaboratively with families to create engaging, individualized learning experiences that build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills.

Volunteer Position

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to support our children's programs and therapeutic activities. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in psychology, behaviour analysis, education, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, social work, or healthcare-related fields.

Responsibilities
Assist with children's activities, games, and group programs.
Support staff in preparing materials and organizing activities.
Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging environment.
Encourage participation and social interaction during activities.
Assist with arts and crafts, sensory activities, and special events.
Support administrative and organizational tasks as needed.

Qualifications
Must be 19 years of age or older.
Interest in working with children and youth.
Positive attitude, patience, and willingness to learn.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience working with children is an asset but not required.
Must be able to complete a Criminal Record Check prior to starting.

Time Commitment
Flexible scheduling available.
Minimum commitment of two shifts per week for at least 3 months preferred.
Opportunities available during after-school hours, evenings, weekends, and seasonal camps.
