We offer hands-on learning programs such as portfolio reviews, mock interviews, and design challenges, all run by mentors from diverse backgrounds and experience levels.

We're Looking for a Volunteer Production Sound Mixer.

Join our dynamic team to enhance the audio quality of our podcasts and community content. If you have a passion for sound editing and are looking to impact the global UX community, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and clean up podcast recordings, removing background noise, pops, clicks, and silences.
Mix audio elements (dialogue, music, sound effects) to achieve a clear, balanced, and professional output.
Ensure all audio content meets technical specifications for podcast distribution.

Requirements:

Proven experience in sound editing and mixing.
Located in North America or close to the PST time zone (Canada or USA) is preferable.
Strong ability to collaborate with a team.
Able to commit a minimum of 3 months.
Availability for 8-10 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
