Volunteer Director, Amelia Douglas Institute for Métis Culture and Language

Directors serve terms of up to two years
CALL OUT FOR NEW BOARD MEMBERS 

Are you eager to contribute to  enhancing Métis culture and language in BC?  Volunteer your leadership, knowledge and expertise by joining the Amelia Douglas Institute’s (ADI) Board of Directors. 

The ADI is seeking Board applicants  with knowledge and experience in finance, fundraising, and non-profit management. 

Each application must include the following: 

    A cover letter expressing why the applicant would be a good fit 

    A resume or curriculum vitae that outlines the applicant’s relevant employment, volunteer, lived and/or academic experience. 

Please submit your application to Tom Long at tlong@mnbc.ca by May 30th, 2025. Successful applicants will be appointed in accordance with ADI’s bylaws and notified in mid-June.

Additional Details & Skills Required
Experience within the museum, culture, heritage, charitable sector, marketing, education or other relevant sectors is an asset. 

    Prior board experience is an asset.
